Red Cherry Bombs

Let’s take a closer look!

The Design:

Being a kid in the Foster Care System, my only constant was cartoons! Wile E. Coyote chasing down Road Runner, ACME Safe’s falling from nowhere and Elmer Fudd missing every shot.  That’s where these cards take me.

Simple retro style Cherry Bombs hanging out as if ready to be plucked!

Thin classic borders and a deep red that pops in natural light yet elegant enough for dim lit parlor settings.

The “Why”:

I always love those fancy high dollar decks. You know the ones! A professional grade, high-def, video trailer of a this vibrant embossed and absolutely over-the-top designed tuck case and matching deck. But the faces are so abstract it takes more than a quick glance to comprehend what you’ve just seen. So we naturally revert back to using Bicycles – and for good reason, they’ve been the industry standard for a century. The next gripe is too many ad cards. We know what we just bought. Such an easy choice. Ad cards, gone, 2 more miracles added to the arsenal.  No card trick hits harder than Torn & Restored, any variation of an Impossible Location or Transposition, and my favorite, Wayne Houchin’s “Anniversary”. So, here’s my take on a $6 dollar deck (or as always 2 for $10), enjoy!

I love these. I’ve been practicing with a deck for the last couple of months, they spread and shuffle great. I also really dig the shade of red, very nice. Congrats on the deck and I look forward to ordering more. Peace.

This is a 5-star deck of cards. First, the back design is simple and understanding, eschewing any suspicion of marked cards. They are attention-grabbing to spectators because they are different, yet put the spectators at ease because there is clearly no possibility of the chicanery of a marking system. They are traditionally cut, and faro easily right out of the box. Admittedly, the back design is unique, so the duplicate king of diamonds is appreciated. The double backer is a nice touch, and is a much better choice for magicians than the typical advertising cards. The stock holds up well, and has a nice finish that doesn’t prematurely become tacky, like many other inferior custom decks out there. Long story short, these are good cards. They look good. They feel good. They perform well. I am happy with my purchase and will get more.
